Conversive's mission is to continue to develop technology
that will help companies improve their customer service, as well as
their internal communications and information networks by helping
automate customer and user self-service capabilities. Through the
use of Conversive Agents,™ it is now possible to improve efficiency
and increase productivity, while at the same time reducing the cost
of providing customer service and help desk support. Conversive technology
is designed to continuously improve over time, so that our solutions
continue to increase in value, creating intellectual property assets

Management
Rob Rappaport, President & C.E.O
Rob Rappaport serves as Conversive's President &
Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rappaport has achieved over 25 years
of domestic and international success in the fields of business communications
and marketing. Prior to joining Conversive, Mr. Rappaport served as
a Senior Consultant to Caribiner International, the world’s
largest business communications company. Mr. Rappaport negotiated
the sale of his own company, The MultiMedia Group, Inc., to Caribiner,
in a Warburg-Pincus financed transaction, in 1994. Mr. Rappaport founded
MultiMedia in the early 1970’s and served as its CEO for twenty
years, positioning the company as the leading corporate communications
company in the Western United States. He developed long term relationships
with many Fortune 500 clients, including Apple Computer, Microsoft,
MCA Universal, The Walt Disney Co., McDonald’s, Mattel, Sony
Electronics, Mitsubishi Electric, Toyota, Honda, Porsche, Cadillac
and Yamaha. Mr. Rappaport was a pioneer in the use of computers in
his industry, and he produced many award-winning marketing and promotional
campaigns and events in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and
South America. Mr. Rappaport holds a degree in Communication Arts
from Loyola Marymount College, as well as a degree in International
Business from The American College in Paris, and a certificate in
International Relations from L’Universite de Grenoble, France.
Robert Williams, Chairman, E.V.P. Strategic Development
Prior to joining the Conversive team Mr. Williams
was a founder and principal of Fitger & Co., an investment banking
firm and A.K. Fitger Industries, a buyout firm. Mr. Williams began
his career as a corporate attorney, advising clients on venture capital,
public offerings and leveraged buyout transactions at the law firms
of Graham & James and Riordan & McKinzie. Mr. Williams holds
a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School
of Law and a B.A. from Stanford University.
Dr. Michael (Fuzzy) Mauldin, Director
Dr. Michael Mauldin serves as Conversive’s
Director. Dr. Mauldin is a fellow, professor and research computer
scientist at the Center for Machine Translation at Carnegie Mellon
University where he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1989
and his M.S. in Computer Science in 1983. His B.A. in Mathematical
Science and Computer Science was earned from Rice University in 1981.
Dr. Mauldin has written two books, 10 refereed papers and several
technical reports on natural language, autonomous information agents,
information retrieval and expert systems. Dr. Mauldin is the founder
of Lycos, Inc., a public company with offices in Boston, New York
and Pittsburgh.

Board of Advisors
Dr. James Canton, Ph.D.
Dr. Canton is one of the world’s leading technology
futurists. He is president of the Institute for Global Futures, an
internationally recognized think tank that advises Fortune 1000 clients
on the strategic impact of leading-edge technologies on customers,
markets, and society. A popular keynote speaker, he delivers more
than 100 presentations a year. He is also a guest host on CNN Financial
News, where he reports on business and technology trends. Dr. Canton
is editor-in-chief of the Canton Technology Report.
Charles Ostman
Charles Ostman has over 25 years experience in the
fields of electronics, physics, computers and applied and theoretical
nanotechnology. His background includes eight years at the Lawrence
Berkeley Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, as
well as positions at LucasFilm in their Droid Works Division, GTE
Lenkhurt and as founder and President of Berkeley Designs, a company
specializing in the development of specialized 3D visualization and
rendering software. He is currently a senior fellow of Nanothinc,
a privately funded nanotechnology forum.
Dr. Gary Gorby, M.D.
Dr. Gorby serves as Associate Professor, Medical
Microbiology and Immunology, Creighton University, Associate Professor,
Medicine, Creighton University and Associate Professor, Medicine,
University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Gorby is pioneering the
use of Conversive Agents™ for instructional modules, particularly
in the medical field. Dr. Gorby holds a B.S., Combined Science, Youngstown
State University and an M.D., Northeastern Ohio Universities' College
of Medicine.
David Foster
As a fourteen-time Grammy winner, producer/songwriter/keyboardist
David Foster is quite simply a pop music icon, albeit behind the scenes.
You may not know his face, but you certainly know his work. Whether
through his early session days as a keyboardist with such legendary
figures as John Lennon, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart and Barbra Streisand
or his production and songwriting hits with Chicago, Michael Jackson,
Phil Collins, Celine Dion, 'N Sync (with Gloria Estefan), Andrea Bocelli,
Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, and Toni Braxton, Foster's
Midas Touch knows no stylistic bounds. David has contacts and relationships
with some of the most influential business figures and companies in
the world, and is working to help Conversive expand its global reach.
Jay Chiat (1931-2002)
Mr. Chiat had more than 30 years of experience in
the field of marketing and advertising, and one of the most influential
communicators of his time. He was the founder of the ground-breaking,
award-winning advertising firm Chiat/Day, which he ran until it was
sold to Omnicom. Most recently, Mr. Chiat was the Chairman Emeritus
of Screaming Media, a digital news and information aggregator in New
York. Although he will be missed, his influence remains.
